Satcher Addresses Georgia Doctors of Chiropractic

On February 27, 2009, Burt Satcher spoke to a statewide audience of chiropractors at a seminar in Atlanta hosted by the Georgia Chiropractic Association. The five-hour presentation focused on the state of the law as it relates to scope of practice and standard of care issues including the very current and hot topic of informed consent law in Georgia.  An in-depth risk management discussion also was conducted wherein a colleague from the Plaintiff's Bar and an expert witness in the field addressed various ways and means for providers to avoid liability and to assist defense counsel when one does become a defendant in a malpractice action.
